Brian, that was some trip. I loved your 3.5 minute view and am very impressed with your planning and documentation of the whole adventure. Your photos are spectacular. I can’t wait to see the entire documentary.
Thanks for posting a great picture of Lower Spokane Falls. I was there in March or April 1983. It was nice to do a virtual visit again after all these years. No purple gondolas back then… (No gondolas)
Excellent video! Great photos and the song is perfect for it! I like the ending too, but don’t use that Hawaii book for serious planning. Buy Kathy Morey’s books on hikes and strolls in various Hawaiian Islands.
About four hours late on the advisory — sorry.
are you really in provo right now? would love to see you if you make it up to SLC.
Man — would love to. Will have to see how things come together (or don’t) in the next 24 hours or so.

I love your website! I would love to see a map posted of the routes that you guys took.
Thanks for stopping by! This map is pretty close to how it actually worked out: http://www.48stateroadtrip.com/2009/05/48-cross-country-road-trip-itinerary-the-whole-thing/.

Thanks — that’s seriously high praise. Thanks for the book tip also — now I just gotta figure out how to get back to the islands again.
I’d like to use one of your photos on the cover of a catalog. Please contact ASAP at email address above.
