McWay Waterfall (Day 3)
July 14th, 2009
It’s a pretty waterfall and, I think, probably the most photographed thing in the whole of Big Sur. Here are a couple of my attempts:

There were others. I’ll spare you. It’s the same basic waterfall each time…
Was gonna post some other photos, but this internet connection’s a little iffy and I don’t like waiting for it, therefore signing off:

Waaaaaa picturesque! Could you hike down to that little cove? 🙂
Oh oh -left the y off the waaaaay —
I gotta say, I am envious. What a beautiful spot.
It’d be great if these pics linked to high-res versions. Just sayin’.
It looks like a sunbleached log leaning against the rocks. Did the waterfall ever reverse course? Truck running ok? (I am now part of the trip.)
A lot of things would be great, if true. Anyway, sure, you could hike down, but you weren’t supposed to. I have other photos that show the waterfall more clearly, but it’s a pretty thin stream regardless. And the truck is thriving, aside from smelling like a combination of, I dunno, smoke and recharging batteries I guess.
